Due to the on-going dry conditions, the committee, (and in agreement with Hertfordshire Golf) have extended the definition of Abnormal Course Conditions to include all drainage lines in the general area.
If a player’s ball is in the general area and not in a hazard, and there is interference from a drainage line, the player may take free relief by determining the nearest point of complete relief and by dropping the original ball or another ball within one club length not nearer the hole.
