Wildlife
During your round, you will be forgiven for getting distracted by the variety of wildlife on an surrounding the course.
It is not uncommon to spot Wallabies hopping across the fairways, in fact left of the 1st fairway they are usually often sat at the fence.
The 2nd and 3rd holes border the zoo's deer herd and whilst playing the 4th hole the zoo's elephants and camels are easily spotted. Muntjac deer roam the course whilst up above red Kites and Buzzards can regularly be seen.
The 13th hole's pond has some majestic Koi carp. the wooden areas are home to woodpeckers, cuckoos and owls. get here early enough and you will hear the distinctive roar of the neighbouring lions.
